KEVIN PIETERSEN HELICOPTER SHOT IN BIG BASH

Kevin Pietersen

Kevin Pietersen played his first ever game in the Big Bash League last night and started off in style by scoring a half-century against the Adelaide Strikers. Playing for the Melbourne Stars, the right-hander began in aggressive fashion, hitting a six off the second ball he faced.
Pietersen kept taking the attack to the bowlers, bringing up his 50 in just 39 balls. Before reaching his half-century, he slammed two sixes in consecutive balls off Kieron Pollard’s bowling.
After getting to his 50, the 34-year-old stepped up a gear, taking right-arm medium-pace bowler Ben Laughlin to the cleaners in the penultimate over of the innings. During the over, we saw Pietersen play what could be described as the ‘helicopter shot’.
The sacked English batsman moved outside the off-stump and flicked the ball on the leg-side. The Adelaide fielders seemed interested as the ball went high in the air, but to their disappointment, the ball landed well beyond the boundary.
Pietersen’s 46-ball 66 went in vain in the end as the Strikers chased down the target with 7.3 overs left, mainly thanks to a splendid 92* (44) from opening batsman TIm Ludeman

  1. Aberdeen Central High School/Presentation College limits the number of credits a student in the TLC program can take per semester to six. My school is aware of the $8000 per year charge that is to be paid by them if I attend the TLC day programgta 5 apk
